I have been teaching since 1998. Prior to teaching in the United States, I worked in Divine Cross Mission Special School in India. I worked in different roles including Founder and Chairman of New Light Charitable Trust (India), Principal, Senior Special Educator and Guidance Counselor.
I came to the United States in August 2006. I taught in Black Street and Bells Elementary School before coming to NSE in 2009-2010. I am certified in Multi- Categorical, Mental Disabilities and Learning Disabilities in Special Education. I have a Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Science (Special Education) and a Master’s in Women’s Studies. I enjoy reading, writing, art, photography and spending time with my family.
