Mr. Williams' Bio:
I have been a School Counselor since the early 1990's. I started at Black Street Elementary and then came to Northside Elementary when it first opened.
I have always enjoyed working with students and the challenge of helping them with their concerns. Students are always welcome to talk to me. I do Individual and Small Group Counseling. I might help someone by sharing strategies on how to manage anger, resolve conflicts, deal with bullying, and a variety of others issues. I also am there for students in times of grief and loss. I give them support or just listen if they want to talk. I present lessons to the classrooms on such topics as ... Character Education, Social Emotional Learning, Careers, Erin's Law and more.
I have a Masters Degree in Elementary School Counseling from South Carolina State University.
Some things I enjoy doing in my free time are exercising, working outdoors, watching sporting events, attending musical events, talking with friends, and spending time with family.
